RD18 Reflector
EDDCO offers a range of Elliptical Parabolic Reflectors for
the Motorola Canopy™ Broadband Wireless System to WISP
customers throughout the United States.
Our antenna reflector concentrates the signal and reduces noise,
which really helps 'jitter' by narrowing the pattern and
reducing multi-path signals coming from the sides. The
reflectors are functionally similar to the Motorola reflector
kit, and accept the standard Motorola Subscriber Modules (SM).
Performance of the RD18 is comparable to the Motorola
reflector kit, offering several dB of gain over use of the SM
by itself, and it is compatible with the 2.4GHz, 5.4GHz, and
5.7GHz Canopy™ systems.
EDDCO RD18 Reflectors are manufactured to a high standard

with a 7-Point welded support assembly bracket (no nuts or

Models
The EDDCO RD18 Reflector is available in four different
models, with variations in the SM mounting method and tilt angle
adjustment range.
EDDCO RD18
The original RD18 Reflector utilizes a double hose clamp SM
mounting system, and allows for 15 degrees of down-tilt
adjustment. Hose clamps are provided.
EDDCO RD18-B 
The RD18-B Reflector features a modified mounting bracket that
gives the reflector an EXTREME 40-degree down-tilt. It also
features our new SM C-Mount, which eliminates any chance of
improper SM orientation. No flimsy plastic snap-on SM mounts
here - our C-Mount is all metal and is secured with a hardened
bolt.
EDDCO RD18-C
The RD18-C Reflector features the new SM C-Mount as found on
the RD18-B model, combined with the standard 15 degree
down-tilt of the original RD18.
EDDCO RD18-D
The RD18-D Reflector utilizes the modified 40 degree down tilt
mounting system of the RD18-B, with the double hose clamp SM
mounting system from the RD18.
Mounting Options
All RD18 models ship with the standard angled arm JM166
Mount Bracket, which allows the reflector dish to be
mounted to the most common surfaces. EDDCO also manufactures a
range of optional and custom Mount
Brackets to allow mounting of the RD18, SM or other WISP
equipment to any structure, surface, pole or tower.
